photoblog image The CEO, Lady S Photos.

The CEO, Lady S Photos.

I took the photograph in Iseyin, Oyo state, Nigeria during the National Youth Service Corps something more like a bootcamp for all higher institution graduates in Nigeria. There were many other photographers or rather paparazzis around in the camp. They take pictures of you without asking for your permission then come back to you with a printed copy and ask you to pay for it if you like it. They do not care if you have your own camera: guess money making was all they wanted.

These photographers have very old film cameras not the DLSR we see nowadays.  Lady S Photos is the name of her small company.

That is the entrepreneurial spirit of Naija folks. Hustle everyday.

This is a really good image. It has so many things going on (the children, the houses, the gutter and the lack of dirt or water in it, and then the CEO herself).

I think you capture what holds you and speaks to you. I really like your approach.
Ohiseme Olubunmi Ozoya: The composition of her pictures are of a high quality as I later observed. I'll reteirate that she does not use a digital camera like photographers like me who have the opportunity to insantly check the quality of my picture every time I take picture. She's good at what she does. Did you notice her handbag and hand-written prints on her vest? That shows the hustle.
I agree with the other comment, really good image with lots going on, I like the little girl laughing on the right and the interest the goat is paying to everything, good stuff.
Ohiseme Olubunmi Ozoya: Thank you Clifford.
